Personally, I don't think it will be nothingness. You are made of something, and things have to go somewhere. :) Actually to quote Carl Sagan "we are made of starstuff." Stars made us, we will make something else, I believe, even our souls/spirits/consciousness will go *somewhere*
before you were born you did not exist. After you die you will not exist. Time is infinite. Time is constant. Past, present, future are creations of perception. You are dying and being born at the same time.
